Rules
- Skate Night is an event for children in preschool through 5th grade.
- The cost is $2.00 per child plus concession stand snacks.
- Skate dates are subject to change due to weather and other planned activities. Please watch our marquee, our “Herald” newsletter, and skatenight.com for updates.
- If rain occurs during skating, children will need to be picked up, so please keep an eye on the sky.
- A parent or responsible adult must sign a child in each time they attend.
- Once signed in, children must stay until a parent or responsible adult signs them out.
- We must have a signed and notarized Medical Release for each child before they can skate. There is a Notary available every skate night.
- Preschoolers may skate in both sections, but school age children (Kindergarten through 5th grade) must remain in the section marked for school age (K-5) children only.
- Bikes are allowed for preschoolers only, and in the preschool section of the parking lot only. Our past experience has shown us that bikes among school age children (K-5) have proven to be dangerous. School age children (K-5) may bring skates, scooters (non-motorized), skateboards, and ripsticks, but please leave your bikes at home.
- Kids, please remember that you are at a church function. Appropriate language and behavior is required at all times.
- In the event that attempts to redirect inappropriate language or behavior have failed, parents will be called to come pick their child up.
- Please help us keep the parking lot clean. There are trash cans close by and we appreciate you for putting trash in them and not on the ground.
- The adult and youth Skate Staff is here for your child’s safety. When the you are asked to do something, we appreciate it being done promptly and with respect. They are looking out for your best interest.
- Heritage UMC is not responsible for any item or equipment left behind. Take your things with you when you leave.
- Have Fun!!
